Lovely place to eat: Bühler and Co

What they say:  Imaginative cuisine inspired by food from around the world.
Buhler & co

What we say: We went on a Saturday night and the main restaurant was full so we were ushered across the small courtyard to a garden room in the back. The lighting was cosy and the other tables were also busy. Our waiter was very attentive and immediately welcomed us and explained the menu.

The evening menu is made up of small sharing plates and we were advised to choose 2-3 per person. When we asked about any recommendations our waiter was delighted to offer her recommendations with the comment "I love it when people ask this." She was spot on with the Jalapeño and saffron arancini which was absolutely delicious. The platefuls are well presented and the only item we didn't like was the halloumi fries. The sticky sauce on the halloumi fries was delicious but we found they were too greasy for our taste. But overall we had a lovely evening and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the warmth of the staff.

We ordered:
Jalapeño and saffron arancini, siracha aioli
Halloumi fries, aubergine yoghurt, pomegranate
Bao buns: Mixed mushrooms, leaf salad
Soft flour burrito - smoked tofu, squash, black beans, crème fraîche, bean sprouts, chilli
Sweet potato, orange and ginger croquettes ginger and orange dip

Overall: Tasty, cosy & relaxed.
